Witness the RESULTSTM of Superior Genetics

SHAWANO, Wis. - Utilize Genex Cooperative, Inc.'s new RESULTSTM program to evaluate the economic advantage of using superior sires in today's dairy herds.

On an individual herd basis, the RESULTS program compares actual cow performance to their sire's Predicted Transmitting Abilities (PTAs) for Milk, Fat, Protein, Somatic Cell Score, Daughter Pregnancy Rate and LNM$. The program groups herd sires in quartiles according to their genetic ranking for each category. Then, for each quartile an average cow performance measurement is calculated for the corresponding category. Top and bottom quartile averages are compared to show high genetic level sires produce the most profitable daughters.

For more information or to evaluate the economic advantage of superior sires in your herd, contact your local Genex representative. RESULTS is a free service provided by Genex.

Herds need to have at least 150 cows for statistically significant analysis. RESULTS reports are generated from DHI data and Dairy Comp 305 or PC Dart on-farm herd management software.
