Genex Boasts Top Three Hereford Registration Sires

SHAWANO, Wis. - The Genex Cooperative, Inc. Hereford lineup boasts the top three registration sires in the entire Hereford breed, according to the American Hereford Association. In all, Genex is home to four of the top 10 sires on the list. These four Genex sires produced 56% of the registrations based on the top 10 sires. These bulls achieved their top-ranking positions due to use and satisfaction by Genex members and customers.

Ranking number one in the breed for the second year in a row is 1HP00823 MSU TCF REVOLUTION 4R. He continues to be one of the breed's most recognized names, siring progeny with the ability to perform in various environments and management situations.

Moving up two spots from last year is 1HP00829 TH 122 71I VICTOR 719T, ranking second. He is a bull that consistently provides a unique combination of calving ease, performance and flawless phenotype.

1HP00825 CRR ABOUT TIME 743 ranks third in registrations. A past national champion sire that, even though deceased, was used heavily for his excellent genetic merit, balance and eye appeal.

Ninth on the list is 1HP00834 TH 71U 719T MR HEREFORD 11X. He was a relatively young sire that caught the attention of many and unfortunately passed away at the beginning of 2013.
