New Genex Employees Complete Extensive Training Program
SHAWANO, Wis. — Six new employees of Genex Cooperative, Inc. recently completed a two-week training program involving both classroom training at the cooperative's headquarters in Shawano, Wisconsin, and on-farm training.. Employees had the opportunity to increase their knowledge of dairy cattle reproductive anatomy and physiology, heat detection, synchronization, semen handling, artificial insemination, and dairy genetics.
Those completing the training program include Reproductive Technicians Victoria Matz of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Luke Wedesky of Platteville, Wisconsin; Shayne Bathalon of Cabot, Vermont; and Cody Aschenbrenner of De Pere, Wisconsin, as well as Reproductive Program Senior Technicians Loren Schwarting of Earlville, New York, and Annika Stampfel of Preston, Minnesota.
The program emphasized qualifications needed for the employees to provide effective cattle reproductive services on Genex members' farms across the U.S.
