New Genex Employees Complete Extensive Training Program
SHAWANO, Wis. — Two new employees of Genex Cooperative, Inc. recently completed a two-week training program held at the headquarters in Shawano. Employees had the opportunity to increase their knowledge of cattle reproductive anatomy and physiology, heat detection, synchronization, semen handling, artificial insemination, and dairy and beef genetics.
Those completing the training program include Reproductive Technician Joel Bishop of Clinton, Maine, and Reproductive Program Senior Technician Nicole Vandenberg of Brookings, South Dakota.
The program emphasized qualifications needed for the employees to provide effective cattle reproductive services on Genex members' dairy farms and beef ranches across the U.S.
