New GENEX employees complete extensive training program
SHAWANO, Wisconsin - Four new employees of GENEX, a cattle genetics cooperative, recently completed a training program held at the headquarters in Shawano, Wisconsin. During the training, the new employees increased their knowledge of cattle reproductive anatomy and physiology, heat detection, synchronization, semen handling, artificial insemination and dairy genetics in order to better serve dairy producers across the USA.
Those completing the program include reproductive technician John Pierce of Westport, New York; reproductive program technician Keith Frees of Plymouth, Wisconsin; and reproductive program senior technicians Arthur Briggs Jr. of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, and Jeremy Rachu, of Edgar, Wisconsin.
