1HO5045 LYNCH: Reaching Historic Heights
SHAWANO, Wis. - In the past year, 1HO5045 Klassic Merrill LYNCH-ET *TV, VG-87 has surpassed two milestones achieved by few sires in the industry. In April 2007, he produced his one-millionth unit of semen. Then last July, he became the all-time semen production record holder at Genex Cooperative, Inc. Now, he has accomplished yet another record-breaking feat as Genex and CRI members and customers have purchased one million doses of semen from LYNCH.
With the January 2008 sire summary, LYNCH's production evaluation includes over 38,000 milking daughters in 8,633 herds in 12 different countries. This means dairy producers all around the world are reaping the returns of this +$463 Lifetime Net Merit (LNM) leader. At 13 years of age, Lynch stands in the 96th percentile - or top four percent of all Holstein bulls - for LNM.
LYNCH graduated into the active lineup in February 2000. Comparing his proof then to now, LYNCH has increased +$183 LNM (adjusted for base changes). Considering today's demand for improved longevity and cow fertility, LYNCH was a bull ahead of his time. Second-crop daughters demonstrate he sires longer-lasting, healthier cows at +3.5 Productive Life and +1.8 Daughter Pregnancy Rate. LYNCH is regarded as an "all-rounder" with calving ease, high components, functional type traits and high semen fertility.
