New Genex Employees Complete Training Program

SHAWANO, Wis. - Four individuals with strong dairy backgrounds are now prepared for exciting careers in the dairy artificial insemination (A.I.) industry. Rolland Sears of Perry, N.Y., Tim Nemitz of Buffalo City, Wis., Mario Cantin of Montmagny, Quebec, and Joseph Spangler of New Berlin, Pa., completed a one-week training course at Genex Cooperative, Inc. headquarters accompanied by additional field training.

The comprehensive training program at the cooperative's headquarters in Shawano, Wis., included detailed classroom learning focused on genetics, reproduction, reproductive physiology, synchronization programs, business management procedures and Genex programs. The new employees also experienced hands-on training in cattle A.I. and estrus detection.

The graduates of the training program are now serving in various capacities within their respective areas. Whether their position entails daily reproductive service, reproductive consulting or direct sales, they are ready to meet the Genex mission by helping producers improve herd profitability.

Throughout their careers, Sears, Nemitz, Cantin and Spangler will continue to learn the latest in cattle reproduction and A.I. techniques through follow-up training, advanced reproductive training and e-learning.
