Reproductive Profit Manager™ (RPM) provides a comprehensive herd analysis to help dairy producers overcome profit barriers and improve reproductive performance. Using herd management records, RPM benchmarks herd performance against a peer group in the areas of milk production, somatic cell count, reproduction, culling and animal health. RPM consulting leads to diagnosis of problem areas and solution implementation. It is most often incorporated into herd management meetings.

Advantages:

Genex consultants use RPM to identify potential problem areas and discuss solutions with herd owners, managers, key farm employees, veterinarians, nutritionists and other management team members.

RPM provides powerful facts and trends to help a herd diagnose problems and implement solutions that maximize herd profitability.

RPM is compatible with Dairy Comp 305 herd management software and AgSource or DRMS milk testing records.

Facts:

Since RPM went national in 2007, over 1,600 reports have been created.

Today, the RPM database contains over 630,000 cows with an average herd size of nearly 1,100 cows.

Herds from across the United States have been processed as have herds in Canada, Mexico, Chile and Iran.

Currently, RPM has over 40 benchmark options to choose from including different herd sizes, geographical areas, top performance levels in the focus areas and many more.
