GENESIS MOET
The GENESIS MOET program, which began as a pilot program in 1989, utilizes Multiple Ovulation Embryo Transfer (MOET) within a herd of Genex/CRI-owned dairy cows. Top heifers from the program are housed and flushed at Genex/CRI. After natural calving, heifers are tested at a neutral herd to identify the top cows and begin flushing their daughters and progeny testing their sons.
Selection
The GENESIS MOET herd is the result of embryo purchases and GENESIS MOET calves returned to the program. The top 50 heifers are selected to be flushed. Lifetime Net Merit (LNM), along with phenotype, is considered in the selection process with special emphasis on health traits and udder composite.

Results
The GENESIS MOET program has produced 18 sires activated on the Genex/CRI line-up to date. This ratio of one to six exceeds the industry average of purchased bulls activated (ratio of one in 11). Graduates of the GENESIS MOET program include popular sires like: 1HO5433 COSMO, 1HO7832 BUISNESS, 1HO7852 CRISPIN, 1HO7458 AGGIE, 1HO5678 TIGER, 97HO7159 CASH 20, 1HO5627 COMPLETE, 1HO7810 CANNON, and 1HO5903 F3.
The GENESIS MOET cows are the result of unbiased testing, and elite LNM sires and dams with high genetic indexes. In turn, their daughters are able to produce large quantities of milk easily with well-attached udders and sound feet and legs.
Embryos Available
Embryos are available to purchase both domestically and internationally. Domestically purchased embryos are sold with a buy back option. Both #1 and #2 embryos are available.
