Instructions for Application of ESTROTECTTM:
For maximum retention of ESTROTECTTM, it is very important to use proper application procedures.
1. Warm the ESTROTECT TM patch before application. The adhesive backing is heat activated. Patches should be warmed to human body temperature. This can be achieved by placing inside a coat near the body, placing inside a container near a hot water bottle or setting the patch next to a heat register. The different warming possibilities are endless.
2. Wipe and clean the area of the animal where the ESTROTECT TM patch will be applied. Dirt, dust, oil, shedding or loose hair and excess moisture must be removed before application. If the animal is bedded with sand, it is very important to thoroughly remove all sand from the tailhead.
3. Apply the ESTROTECT TM across the animal's backbone half way between the hooks and pins. Rub the patch onto the hair with bare fingers. This rubbing will not damage the silver coating. Press down hard.
• Do not clip or shave the hair. If the hair is extremely long, do not trim it shorter than one inch.

Para lograr una mayor retención del ESTROTECT TM es muy importante usar los procedimientos de aplicación correctos.
•1. Caliente el parche de ESTROTECT TM antes de la aplicación. La parte posterior adhesiva se activa con el calor. Los parches deben ser calentados a la temperatura del cuerpo. Esto puede hacerse colocando el parche dentro de su abrigo cerca del cuerpo, colocándolo en un recipiente cerca de una botella con agua caliente, o colocando el parche al lado de una salida de calefacción. Hay una enorme cantidad de posibilidades diferentes para calentarlo.
•2. Repase y limpie el área del animal donde el parche ESTROTECT TM va a ser colocado. La suciedad, el polvo, aceites o pelambre suelta, y la humedad excesiva, deben ser removidos antes de la aplicación. Si la cama del animal es de arena, es muy importante que se remueva muy bien toda la arena que tenga en la cola.
•3. Aplique el ESTROTECT TM cruzando el hueso posterior del animal, entre los huesos de la cadera y de las patas. Refriegue el parche sobre el pelo con sus dedos, sin guantes. Este refriegue no va a dañar la cubierta plateada. Apriete bien fuerte.
No corte o afeite el pelo. Si el pelo es muy largo, no lo corte más corto que una pulgada.
